Porter’s Supports Fill the Boot for MDA

Our team members in Seminole, TX donated cold drinks and some snacks to the local fire department on Saturday, August 20, 2022. The Seminole, TX Fire Department hosted a “Fill the Boot,” event for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. These firefighters were out Saturday encouraging the community to donate money by using their work boots and trying to fill them with as many donations as they can. Citizens in the community could also donate online directly to the MDA organization. Here at Porter’s, we support the MDA program yearly, and we like to support others within the community who are raising awareness and supporting this cause. All donations received to the organization help fund research in finding a cure and support those affected by muscular dystrophy, which includes more than forty neuromuscular disorders.
