Porter's Keeping it Spooky

This season, throughout our locations, we made an effort to help provide our community with a safe spot to take their children out for candy. At our store, we were awaiting trick-or-treaters with big candy bags to make their night. We also wanted to have a little fun. Some of our locations held costume contests and participated in city-hosted events.

Crane

Our team members in Crane, TX, participated in the communities Trunk -or Treat, giving out candy where they dressed up for the kids.

Seminole

Our team members in Seminole, TX, handed out candy inside the store and hosted a costume contest. Winners were chosen at random as kids stopped by for candy.

Presidio

Our team members in Presidio, TX, handed candy at the front of the store. They held a coloring contest for the kids. Take a look at this years winners. Our team also donated pallets of pumpkins to the Presidio Elementary Pumpkin Patch, held all day on October 28, 2022.

Andrews

Our team in Andrews, TX, passed out candy in the store on Halloween. They also held a costume contest online/via email. Contestants sent entries in via email, where winners were contacted on Halloween night, and they could pick up their prize at the local ACE Arena. The city of Andrews held a "Safe Spot" that allowed trick-or-treaters to gather candy for the night from local organizations safely. Our team went to the arena to set up a booth and dressed up for the part.
