Porter's has a busy 4th of July Weekend!

Our teams were busy during this past Fourth of July weekend! While the Fourth of July is usually our busiest time of year, our Brand Ambassador's still managed to make time for what's important: our Communities.

Things kicked off Friday, June 30, in Fort Davis with 2023's Coolest 4th of July Celebration, the biggest celebration west of Odessa and east of El Paso! Our team in Fort Davis donated time and money to help create a tremendous four-day event! Friday's events began with a Barn Dance, followed by Saturday's vendors, live music by Jody Nix, a car show, a pet parade, an 1880s community baseball game, and fireworks. Fort Davis' event was completed Tuesday, July 4, with a show of 200 runners of all ages coming together for a 5K Run benefiting the Davis Mountain Education Foundation. Our Team from Fort Davis donated water, bananas, and cookies to the runners.

In Seminole, our Team had success with Freedom Fest 2023. Many exciting events took place such as Contests: Ice cream, salsa, and cobbler contests, Volleyball and cornhole tournaments, a Scavenger Hunt, Kiddie Parade, Mr. and Miss Freedom Fest Pageant

Tethered Hot Air Balloon Rides, Twisted Steel Band and more! Originally tasked with water support, our team was expanded to trading messages, monitoring the weather and other tasks when needed. With a crowd estimated of more than six thousand people, our team worked diligently to help any way they could.
