Porter's Sponsors 26th Annual Alpine Artwalk

Every November people and artists come to Alpine to celebrate Artwalk. Porter's is proud to sponsor this event that brings tourism into the area and supports local artists.

Artwalk took place November 22 - 23, 2019 with live music, food, beverages and an array of art from across the state.

Each year there is a mural that is painted and this year was no different with a mural painted that pays homage to the first responders of Texas.

Local Sul Ross student Neela Ahmed, who also is a Team Member in our Fort Davis location, had a booth of her own artwork.

In addition to buying art, there is also a Silent Auction where 100% of the proceeds go to the Alpine Public Library, as well as a local scholarship put in place at Sul Ross State University for art students. Additional money raised also goes partly to the art program at the local public schools in Alpine.
