Although it has only been two weeks since our last update regarding our policies and procedures in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have all faced challenges and celebrated success. Dear Customers, There isn’t much to be said that hasn’t already been said regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we are currently facing. We would like to assure you that we are still just as committed to providing the same great service & products you know and expect from Porter’s as we always have been. Part of that service is ensuring that our customers have a clean and safe place to buy groceries. Porter's in Seminole provided refreshments for training

Porter’s in Seminole Texas was proud to support the Gaines County EOC, Seminole Fire Department, and National Weather Service by providing refreshments for their Skywarn training program on March 5, 2020 as presented by Greg Jackson. Skywarn is a program designed to train weather spotters and with their aid collect localized reports of severe weather. The National Weather Service office in Midland Texas has one of the larger coverage areas in the United States, including all Porter’s locations. The Seminole Skywarn class saw attendance by law enforcement, EMS, fire, amateur radio operators, government officials, school students along with many more. Attendance was free and not limited to G

Porter's Friends Take On Their First BBQ Competition

Porter's is so excited to announce our new sponsorship of the Sands first BBQ team. Last weekend they took on their first competition and even placed in the Ribs category! Their coach, Billy Grumbles, said the team learned so much at their first competition. They're off to a great start. Porters is sponsoring the team by providing all of the meat they prepare for judging. The team has been working hard, practicing for competitions, as well as doing fundraisers for the trip costs. We are so excited to cheer on the Sands BBQ team as they continue to compete and grow in their skills.
