Meet OUr Team
Store Manager - Nancy McNeese
She started working for Porter's in 1976 as a Market Helper in Andrews. She left for college in 1986. In 1990, she opened her own meat market, which she sold nine years later. She returned to Porter's to work in the Market, later transferring to Crane to manage the Market there. After some time, she moved up to Assistant Manager until she left in 2012 for East Texas. She returned to West Texas in 2016 to become the Store Manager of the new Porter's location in Big Spring. Currently, she is managing both Big Spring and Midland locations. Some of her favorite hobbies include cooking, travel, and golf.
Assistant Manager - Larry Johnson
Larry started his grocery career in 1976 at M System Foods as a Stocker. He then worked for 28 years at Furrs Supermarket as an Assistant/Night Manager. After the closing of Furrs, he went to Super Mercado as the Grocery Assistant Manager. In 2016, he started at Top Value as an Assistant Manager. Porter's bought Top Value in 2019, where he has continued to serve as an important part of the store's management team. Larry is married to his wife Patricia and has 5 children and 7 grandkids. He serves on the Leadership Board at his church, Northside Church of Christ.
